Al Ruechel and Leigh MoodyBay News 9's "No Repeat" Commitment

You have questions about our No Repeat Commitment? We have answers.

"Does Bay News 9 repeat the news? It always looks the same hour to hour."

Many of our morning newscast stories do repeat from hour to hour. And when we talk about our "No Repeat Commitment", what we are saying is the newscast you see in the morning is different from the newscast in the evening.

This is our no repeat commitment.

Every day, on Your Morning News, Bay News 9 delivers all the big stories, including overnight news, national and international updates, plus the weather forecasts you need to get ready for your day.

And as the day progresses -- our team of reporters, photographers, and producers are updating and adding new information to many of those same stories from the morning newscast - and at the same time -- Bay News 9 is working on NEW stories for the Your Evening News newscast.

"I know that I have seen stories in the morning...then see that same story later when I get home. Can you explain this?"

When Bay News 9 covers stories in the morning, many of those same stories continue to grow and develop all day. These stories evolve into something bigger, more complex, with more detail, and more information than when it was first reported in the morning.

We cover the big stories all day, bringing you the whole story as it develops throughout the day, and sometimes this may appear like Bay News 9 is repeating the news.

Bay News 9 is always committed to delivering the latest news and information.
