The St. Pete Mad Dogs are one of the oldest and largest pure triathlon clubs in the world. Each year they host the Madeira Beach Mad Dog Triathlon at Archibald Beach Park on Madeira Beach. The event weekend consists of a children's mini triathlon on Saturday and a sprint distance triathlon on Sunday. Get your running shoes, bicycles and swim suits out and join in the challenge. Be sure to pre-register.

The United States Marshal's Service along with the Federal Court Security Officers are holding their 7th Annual Golf Tournament. The purpose of the event is to raise funds to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Greater New Port Richey Main Street invites you to join us for this award winning event that combines live Blues music performed by local and regional legends all weekend, tasty seafood, beautiful boats, an arts & craft fair and activities for the entire family.
Admission to the festival is free with a suggested $2 donation to help Greater New Port Richey Main Street continue bringing these great events to New Port Richey. Most, but not all, activities are free of charge.
Tampa Bay on Demand's Virginia Johnson will keep things moving Saturday night between bands. Don't miss this great event!

Come and meet Bay News 9 Chief Meteorologist Mike Clay at the Pinellas Hurricane Expo. The event is free and you'll get a free hurricane tracking chart and Project Weather Activity Book for the kids. Plus there will be displays from Pinellas Animal Services, the City of Largo Fire and Rescue, Pinellas County Utilities, the American Red Cross and many more. Don't get caught unprepared!

The Orange Dome at the Chain O' Lakes comlex in Winter Haven is the place to be for all of your hurricane information. Bay News 9 Chief Meteorologist, and Weather Expert, Mike Clay will be there to answer your hurricane questions. Bay News 9 will be handing out laminated hurricane tracking charts and Project Weather activity books for the kids.
This year's expo will include disaster preparedness seminars, power tool safety demonstrations, children's activities, exhibits, area experts, concessions and much more!
