METROCON comes to the Tampa Convention Center

METROCON, Florida's largest anime convention, comes to the Tampa Convention Center this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The theme for the 8th annual meeting is Ninja vs. Samurai. Fans of anime focus on the Japanese animation, comic drawings (called manga), music, costumes and video games. Most topics deal with science fiction and fantasy. The admission price ranges from $10 to $55.

METROCON will also include panel discussions, guest appearances, parties, costume competitions, gaming areas and movie screenings. For more information, dial 941-350-2119
