IC Places Hollywood comes to Tampa Bay On Demand

Last Updated:

Fans of the glitz and glamor of Hollywood now have a brand new, half-hour program to enjoy on Tampa Bay On Demand, Channel 340.

IC Places Hollywood, produced exclusively for Bright House Networks, lives in the Movies & Music section of the channel.

Every week, host Steven Samblis interviews Tinsel Town's hottest celebrities, visits the red carpet of the biggest parties, and gives instant movie reviews.

"We are here to bring you the 411 on everything Hollywood," said Samblis.

Samblis previously created the Instant Movie Review online, which currently receives 50 million viewers a month.

He's also the Editor in Chief of IC Places' 350 city entertainment websites.

Samblis, who started off as a stock broker, can't believe he made the transition to entertainment host.

"It makes no sense whatsoever. When I was a kid growing up, every Friday my dad took us to the movies and I saw the best and worst of what Hollywood had to offer. I've always just loved movies."

Samblis said he won't ask too much about movies on the red carpet. He doesn't what to get any "spin" and he knows the actors have probably been off the set for at least a year by the time the red carpet parties arrive.

"We are extremely excited to add IC Places Hollywood to our Local On Demand programming," said Elliott Wiser, Corporate Vice President, News and Local Programming.

Bright House Networks operates Local On Demand channels in Bakersfield, Birmingham, Detroit, Indianapolis, Tampa Bay and Central Florida.

Other programs on Tampa Bay On Demand, channel 340, include YOU On Demand, Honky Tonk TV and The Movie Loft.
