Several wireless providers are helping low income residents in Florida get free cell phones and minutes.
Generally, those that qualify for Medicaid and Food Stamps can get the phones.
Providers include:
Safelink Wireless, which offers 150 minutes a month and a free phone.
Assurance Wireless, which offers 200 minutes a month and a free phone. Call 888-898-4888.
