A St. Petersburg family said a burglar ransacked their home and stole their 5-month-old pug.

Chris Jones said the family bought a pair of pugs to celebrate her husband's recovery from brain surgery.

She said that when a burglar broke into their St. Petersburg home this week, the suspect took Bucky. The suspect left behind Bucky's sister, Gracie.

Jones said all they care about is getting their dog back.

"Please bring my dog back," she said. "Gracie misses him. We don't want anything other than for you to bring him back to us. Call whoever you need to call and to bring him back."
