Fans of flying now have a new app to feed their passion.
No, it's not from an airline--it's from local tourist attraction, the Fantasy of Flight.
The owner of the Polk County flight museum created a new airplane flying application.
The Fantasy of Flights' owner Kermit Weeks now wants you to learn a little more about airplanes by using your iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad.
First off, you'll have to visit the app store and download the $1.99 game from iTunes.
Once you've done that, you'll be greeted by "Gee Bee the Littler Racer and Friends."
The main character, Gee Bee, is a monoplane or an airplane with only one pair of wings.
The app lets you fly the animated characters through various levels of dodging birds, balloons and blimps.
Plus you'll be racing against the clock to deliver packages on time and popping balloons with your propellers to gain extra points.
The actual game is a little challenging--although, it is a fun way to learn about vintage airplanes from an attraction in our own backyard.
This might be the upside for Fantasy of Flight.
It's now on the web, Facebook, Twitter and it has its own mobile app.
It could be just what the Polk County attraction needs to make drivers on I-4 do a fly by.
