The budget battle is nearing its end in St. Petersburg.
But before city officials can approve the budget, city residents get to speak out about the budget.
That will happen at Thursday's 6 p.m. city council meeting.
Right now, city council members have a $540 million budget - that includes $14 million in cuts.
Officials have proposed fee increases for admission to city pools and summer camps, among others. Commissioners also are planning to freeze wages, eliminate jobs and take pay cuts.
The city has already held three months worth of public hearings on the budget.
