A Plant City man was arrested in connection with a fatal crash that killed two people Sunday night.
Servando Gregorio, 50, is facing charges after investigators with the Florida Highway Patrol said he was intoxicated when he drove the wrong way on State Road 60.
According to the reports, Gregorio was heading east in the westbound lands of State Road 60, just west of State Road 39, when he crashed nearly head-on into a Ford Escort driven by Sayeeda Quade, 33.
Quade was seriously injured in the crash. Her passenger, Shawn Quade, 34, was killed.
Saul Gregorio-Daniel, 23, a passenger in Gregorio's vehicle, was also killed.
Investigators said Gregorio's blood alcohol content was 0.216, more than twice the legal limit.
He was taken to Hillsborough County Jail and booked on charges of DUI manslaughter, DUI involving serious bodily injury and DUI property damage. He was also cited for driving on the wrong side of the road.
