President Barack Obama's speech in front of Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom makes him just the fourth sitting president to visit a Disney theme park:
Jimmy Carter
The first presidential visit to a Disney park was in 1978, when President Carter attended the opening session of the 26th World Congress of the International Chamber of Commerce meting at the Magic Kingdom.
Ronald Reagan
During President Reagan's administration, he visited Epcot twice.
First, in 1983, the president spoke to international students who would work at World Showcase.
Then, in 1985, Reagan held his second-term inaugural celebration at Epcot, which included a parade around World Showcase.
George H.W. Bush
In 1991, the first President Bush presided over the first Points of Light ceremony at the America Gardens Theatre honoring volunteers for their service work.
What about Nixon?
It's well known that President Richard Nixon famously declared he was "not a crook" at Walt Disney World in 1973, but that was during a convention at Disney's Contemporary Resort, not inside the Magic Kingdom.
Nixon proclaimed his innocence amid the infamous Watergate scandal, which eventually led to his resignation as president.
Of course, every U.S. president has a permanent home at Walt Disney World, at the Hall of Presidents in the Magic Kingdom's Liberty Square.
