Official: Drunk Busch Gardens park guest hits heads, gets combative

An intoxicated Busch Gardens park guest leaving a restaurant in the theme park slipped, fell and became "combative" when emergency crews tried to help.

According to Busch Gardens spokesperson Jill Revelle, the park guest somehow slipped and hit their head as they exited the restaurant around 5:30 p.m. Friday afternoon.

Tampa Fire / EMS crews responded to the scene, but the patron became combative, according to Tampa Fire / EMS spokesperson Capt. Lonnie Benniefield.

The patron was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital. The patron's condition is not known and has not been identified.
