Winter Haven QB Levi Borders threw for two touchdowns, plus ran for one, as the Blue Devils opened up district play with a 35-17 win over Kathleen.
The Blue Devils (4-0, 1-0) led 21-3 at the half and then scored another 14 points in the 3rd quarter to put the game out of reach. Winter Haven's defense also looked strong with four sacks, plus an Alex Jean interception.
For the Red Devils (2-2, 0-1) the highlight on offense was a an A'Treyu Farrior touchdown pass to R.J. Johnson for 45 yards. James McClinton also ran for a score.
The Blue Devils Kendrick Holland had two touchdown receptions for Winter Haven.
