Police release sketch of rape suspect

St. Petersburg Police have released a sketch of a man they say raped an 88-year old woman in her home Saturday afternoon.

Officers say it happened when the suspect showed up on the victim's doorstep and asked for a drink of water. There have been crimes in the same area recently where a man with the same general description robbed the victims, but didn't rape them.

Authorities encourage residents to use extreme caution before inviting a stranger into their home.
