Boil water notices

Citrus County
The Citrus County Health Department has issued a boil water notice for residents in Arrowhead and other communities who have experienced floodwaters over their wellheads from recent storms.

Plantation Inn and Golf Resort is under a boil water advisory.

River Lodge Mobile Home Park is under a boil water advisory.

Executive Center is under a boil water advisory.

Seven Rivers Golf Club is under a boil water advisory.

St. Martin's Marsh is under a boil water advisory.

Residents should not assume their water is safe to drink after flooding subsides. If your well has been flooded, you must disinfect it.

Hernando County
The Hernando County Health Department has issued a boil water notice for county utility customers east of I-75.

Hillsborough County
Power is out at the South-Central wellfield serving Brandon, Sun City Center, Gibsonton and Ruskin. The Lithia water plant is on generator power because the plant is unable to get water in from the wellfield. 

Power is out for customers in the East Lake Utility in Tampa. Repairs are being made, but residents should boil their water for at least 72 hours after service is restored.    

Also, 120 lift stations are without power. County water department officials are requesting residents to limit water usage until further notice. Avoid doing laundry, do not irrigate lawns and keep flushing of toilets to a minimum.

Harmony Oaks mobile home park residents are under a boil water alert.

Pasco County
Anyone on the New Port Richey water system is being asked to conserve as much water as possible so the system doesn't overload.

Currently, 43 out of 68 lift stations are not working due to power outages.

Pinellas County

Southgate Mobile Home Park is under a boil water alert.

Tarpons Springs residents and businesses on Tarpon Avenue, from Grosse Avenue to Japonica Avenue and Court Street, from U.S. 19 to Jasmine Avenue are under a boil water notice. For more information, call 727-942-5606.

Polk County
The Polk County Health Department has issued a precautionary boil water notice. It includes any area where a loss of electricity has resulted in a loss of water supply; water has been shut off; water pressure has been lost for an extended period of time; there is a noticeable change in odor or taste in your water; your water has become milky or cloudy or surface water has been extended about the level of your private well.

In addition to the countywide alert, Lake Wales city officials have asked residents to adhere to the following guidelines: all water used for drinking or cooking should be brought to a full rolling boil for at least one minute; use pre-boiled water to wash fruits and vegetables, to make ice and to wash hands.

The wastewater treatment plant in Mulberry is inoperable. Mulberry city officials report there is some contaminated water in the streets, and urge residents to remain inside and avoid storm water runoff that may contain contamination from the wastewater treatment facility.

This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect for two days or until otherwise advised. For more information, call the Citizens Information Line at 863-534-0321.
