Victims identified in Plant City homicide
Sunday, January 16, 2005
Medical examiners identified a married man and woman Sunday as the victims of a double murder in Plant City Saturday night.
Darren Kaiser, 37, and his wife, Heather Kaiser, 26, were discovered inside their home on North Gordon Street. Detectives said both victims suffered upper body trauma.
The couple sold used cars out of their residence. In fact, police said two customers found the bodies when they arrived Saturday to do some business.
Investigators are focusing on the used car business for clues.
"They did business via the Internet, phone calls, so it's going to be a monumental task," Darrell Wilson of Plant City Police said.
The name of the business is Car Search 4 U.
Detectives have talked to neighbors, but they're also asking anyone in the area who may have had interaction with the company to please call Plant City police.
If you have any information about the case, call the Plant City police at (813) 757-9200, or Crimestoppers at (800) 754-TIPS (8477).
