Tampa man kidnapped in Haiti

A Tampa man was kidnapped Saturday while trying to aid his home country.

Daniel Thelusmar, 26, was reportedly taking supplies to an orphanage in Haiti when armed men pulled him from his car. According to the orphanage, the kidnappers are demanding $10,000 for Thelusmar's release.

Thelusmar was born in Haiti and came to the U.S. a few years ago. He has a wife and 19-month-old daughter in Tampa.
