Another murder in Manatee County

The murder took place at this house in Bradenton.

The third murder this week in Manatee County took place Wednesday night.

Manatee County Sheriff Office Spokesperson Dave Bristow said a pair of home invaders likely targeted the home on 12th Street Court East in Bradenton for one reason.

"We think that this was obviously drug related," Bristow said.

One man in the house was killed and two others injured.

One of the injured men told investigators crack cocaine was being cooked inside the house shortly before the masked men broke into it. Deputies said the killers took drugs and cash.

Bristow said the killers were wearing masks and little description of them is available.
