Dead fish continue to turn up on Bay area beaches.
Red tide continues to be a problem on Bay area beaches as summer winds down.

Florida's gulf coast remains affected, with a fluctuation from high to low concentrations being found between northern Sarasota and Pinellas counties, including Manatee County beaches and Tampa Bay. Respiratory irritation and dead fish continue to be reported through out the area.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission reports diminishing red tide in southern Sarasota County.

If you want more red tide information, call Mote Marine at 941-388-4441, extension 6.
