Alonso High School senior Kayla Beach's dreams are coming true, as she's been accepted to two prestigious military academies.
"From the first time I met her, she was one of those young ladies that was focused," said Alonso High Principal Sandy Bunkin. "She knew exactly what she wanted to do."
What she wanted to do was become a military officer.
"I love the atmosphere, the environment the military has and always wanted to be a leader and that's the best cause you could work for," said Beach.
Beach is well on her way, having been accepted to the Air Force Academy and West Point.
"The academies are prestigious for being the best of the best and really I'm honored to be accepted to any of them," said Beach.
