Hunting for a gun

The gun looks like this.

Polk County Sheriff's deputies are trying to get a stolen loaded handgun off the streets.

Someone stole a silver Smith & Wesson .45-caliber pistol from a deputy's home in Bartow sometime between Thursday night and Monday morning. The gun's serial number is VZT3508. A leather holster was also taken.

Anyone with information about the case who wants to remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward can call Crime Stoppers at (800) 226-TIPS.
