First-degree murder charge in Sarasota County

Sarasota County Sheriff's detectives have charged Robert Wolfe with 1st-degree murder, accusing him of killing Lauri Beth Moore in October.

Moore was reported missing by her sister on Oct. 25.

Detectives found Moore's remains buried in the backyard of her house on Nov. 9. The medical examiner's office said Moore died from sharp force trauma.
