Amber Alert issued for Greenacres boy

GREENACRES, Fla. (AP) - An Amber Alert is out on an 8-year-old boy who authorities said was taken from Greenacres.

Police said Jared McGuire was abducted by a white male with gray or dark hair and a goatee. The man was wearing a collared long-sleeved, multicolored flannel shirt, blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a black cap.

Authorities said the child was forced into a white mid-90s Chevy van. The tag number isn't known.

McGuire was last seen in the area of Forest Hill Blvd. and Jog Road.

He's described as 4-feet 8-inches tall, weighing 65 pounds with light brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray Old Navy T-shirt with red lettering, blue jean shorts and no shoes.
