Stolen Largo bird in danger

Surveillance video shows two suspects stealing a Goffin cockatoo Thursday afternoon from the Petland of Largo.

The baby bird is too young to eat on its own, and veterinarians said the bird has about 24 hours before it starves to death.

Petland is offering a reward for its safe return. The thieves were seen leaving Petland in a souped-up blue Ford Mustang. If you have any information, call Petland at (727) 366-0578.
