Problems continue to plague the condo project.
Donald Trump wants no part of Trump Tower Tampa and has ordered developers to stop using his name on the project.
The real estate mogul has pulled out of the $300 million, 52-story condo project in a lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court, according to the Associated Press.
Trump alleges the developer, SimDag, owes him more than $1 million in unpaid licensing fees and failed to show it had sold enough condos to meet contractual obligations to him. Each condo is valued from $700,000-$6 million.
The project was touted as one of the Gulf of Mexico's tallest and grandest towers.
