Organic foods are popular with many shoppers.

BAY AREA (Bay News 9) -- Organic foods continue to gain in popularity, but there are some things shoppers should know before picking organic foods.

Organics can cost 30 to 50 percent more than non-organic foods, so it is important to know which organics are the most beneficial.

One thing experts suggest is that shoppers buy organic milk because traditional milk can contain pesticides, growth hormones and antibiotics.
