SEFFNER (Bay News 9) -- Two people were arrested after deputies said they broke into a Little League concession stand.
According to reports, on either Nov. 13 or Nov. 14, 18-year-old Joshua Kidd and a 15-year-old minor used a crowbar to break into the concession stand at the East Point Little League Park in Seffner.
Deputies said the two suspects then took boxes of candy and a digital camera from the safe before fleeing the scene on foot.
The suspects were arrested Thursday after police were told that the stolen property was at a home in Tampa. Deputies said they went to the home and found the stolen property inside the house.
The boxes of candy and the digital camera were returned to the volunteers who work at the concession stand.
Kidd and the minor were taken into custody. They are facing charges of burglary of an unoccupied structure, grand theft and criminal mischief.
Bay News 9 is not releasing the name of the minor in accordance with our Crime Guidelines, as it is unknown whether he will be charged as an adult.
