(Bay News 9) -- Bubba the Love Sponge and the father of a murdered Citrus County girl are airing their disagreements on the airwaves.
Mark Lunsford spoke to Bubba Thursday morning on his radio show and was not too happy with the things the shock jock had been saying about him.
Last week, Lunsford announced he planned to sue the Citrus County Sheriff's Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for negligence in his daughter's death.
Lunsford said on the radio Bubba had been saying he was just suing for the money.
Lunsford said he's suing for changes in policy and any money he gets will go to his lawyers and to a Citrus County children's advocacy center, named Jessie's Place, in memory of his daughter.
Bubba questioned the way Lunsford's charitable foundation, founded after Jessica Lunsford's 2005 murder, is spending its money.
Attorneys for Lunsford say they're considering legal action against the radio talk show host for his comments.
Jessica Lunsford was abducted from her home in Homosasssa three years ago, then raped and murdered by John Couey.
Couey was sentenced to death last year for the crime.
Bay News 9 requested interviews with both Bubba and Lunsford for this story and both refused to comment on camera.
