NCAA games to cause congestion in downtown Tampa

NCAA Men's Basketball Regional First Round games will cause congestion in downtown Tampa Friday.

TAMPA (Bay News 9) -- Approximately 18,000 people will be arriving at the St. Pete Times Forum for a pair of NCAA games that begin at 7:20 pm.

There will be traffic congestion in downtown Tampa from 5 p.m. until 7:30 pm.

Streets to avoid are Bayshore Blvd., Platt St./Channelside Dr., Ashley Dr. and Tampa St.

Drivers should use the Crosstown Expressway.
