HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY (Bay News 9) -- The State Attorney's office has filed formal adult charges against a 16-year-old boy in two sexual battery cases.
Kendrick Morris is charged in two rapes, one that occurred in April outside the Bloomingdale Regional Public Library in Valrico and the other, in 2007, at a daycare center.
The state attorney's office said Morris will be charged as an adult in both cases. If he is convicted, he could face life in prison.
He is currently in juvenile detention.
