Video: teacher slams student

LAKE COUNTY (Bay News 9) -- A teacher body-slamming a student was captured on video in a Lake County Classroom.
The cell phone video shows Stephen Berry tackling a 14-year-old student to the ground.
The middle school asked the sheriff's office to investigate. The teacher said he was just trying to get the boy to calm down.
"It was a little playful, went too far, and when I tried to tell him now is enough, that's when the video clicks on and they get the very end of it," Berry said.
The student's parents are not pressing charges. The teacher has since resigned.
