Bay area (Bay News 9) -- Bay News 9's new Klystron 9 radar now takes viewers inside storms.
With Bay News 9's brand new technology, meteorologists can show viewers what a storm looks like in three dimensions instead of two.
With Klystron 3D, meteorologists are able to dissect the storm and, for the first time ever, viewers will be able to see the most intense part of it.
Thanks to Klystron 9, the most powerful TV radar in the world, meteorologists will be able to show viewers storms in areas that are beyond the scope of other radars, whether they're hundreds of miles out in the Gulf, or moving toward our northern counties.
You can find more about Klystron 9 on our new Klystron 9 web page or Bay News 9 On Demand, channel 342 on Bright House Networks digital cable. Find 9 things you should know about Klystron 9, interviews with leading radar experts and more. Go to the weather section. Once there, choose Klystron 9.
