PINELLAS COUNTY (Bay News 9) -- Nosey, the pigeon, is not just a pigeon.
"He think's he's a person," said Michelle Simoneau, Marketing Director/PR Coordinator of the Seabird Sanctuary in Indian Shores. "Nosey has a very distinct personality and he is very, very inquisitive."
Nosey suffered a broken wing and other injuries when he was hit by a car and was brought to the non-profit wild bird hospital for rehabilitation.
Simoneau says he likes to take part in house cleaning and watch television. His favorite program is Bay News 9.
"He just goes right up by the tv and he watches the show," she said. "And he does his little dance and he just sits intently and watches Bay News 9."
Simoneau says Nosey's favorite anchor is Al Ruechel, probably because he reminds him of Seabird Sanctuary's founder, Ralph Heath.
