Young fan holds Steelers-themed Bar Mitzvah
TAMPA (Bay News 9) -- A local Steelers fan celebrated his Bar Mitzvah in Super Bowl style Saturday night.
Ian Chapkis' party was Steelers-themed.
Chapkis' dad is from Pittsburgh and passed on his love of the Steelers to his son.
It turns out the Chapkis family planned the whole theme before the Steelers landed in this year's Super Bowl.
He said his friends liked his theme but jokingly rooted 'go Cardinals.'
But when Chapkis found out his favorite team was in the Super Bowl he said he was really excited.
His family is hosting a Super Bowl party next Sunday.
