It's called the Turkey Trolley, and for the past three years, volunteers ride a trolley through Sarasota delivering meals to the elderly.
And the trolley-full of volunteers do so in full costume, with flowers, food and friendship to people who otherwise might be alone on the holiday.
"I'm thankful to be alive at 90 years of age,' said one recipient. "I'm thankful for this community."
Among those visiting the community who took part in the trolley was Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe, a German prince.
The prince spent time with people along the trolley line, reminding them that they were not alone on the holiday and that people cared about them.
Meanwhile, the trolley served so much food, it had to return to Mattison's City Grille restaurant in Sarasota to pick up more food.
The first Turkey Trolley began in 2007 with the help of restaurateur Paul Mattison, who provides each person visited by the trolley a traditional Thanksgiving meal.

In the past, the trolley has made deliveries to Bradenton, Sarasota, Osprey, Lakewood Ranch, Longboat Key, Siesta Key and Lido Key.
Each recipient along the trolley route was nominated by someone in the community.
In some cases people they did not even know.
The event went so well, organizers hope to add a second trolley next year.
"I can not even express what my heart feels,' said another recipient. "No one has ever done this for me."
Nomination should be sent to Health Beat of America Turkey Trolley, P.O. Box 52546, Sarasota FL 34232. For more information, call 350-4497.
