Firefighters revive family's dog after blaze

The dog was unconscious when firefighters arrived. But within an hour he was running around.

PINELLAS COUNTY (Bay News 9) -- A Pinellas County family is cleaning up charred debris this Christmas.

A fire broke out at their Clearwater home on Lake Vista Drive Thursday.

The residents weren't home, but the family dog was. However, firefighters got there just in time to save him.

The black Lab was unconscious, but firefighters managed to revive him. Within an hour he was running around.

Investigators don't know yet what caused that fire.
