Developers said they tried to keep the development going as long as they could.

PASCO COUNTY (Bay News 9) -- One of the largest residential developments in Pasco County has shut down.

According to Bay News 9's partner paper, the St. Petersburg Times, the Connerton project has run out of money. It was one of the largest residential developments in the Bay area.

Developers closed their offices last week and let go of 10 workers. They said they kept it going for as long as they could.

The project may be sold to another developer.
