PINELLAS COUNTY (Bay News 9) -- The final chapter in the dramatic divorce between Terry Bollea and his estranged wife, Linda, played out in a Pinellas County courtroom Tuesday.

Attorneys for Terry and Linda Bollea announced that the two sides have reached a settlement in their divorce case.

No terms of the agreement were given.

According to sources close to the case, the couple reached an agreement before the hearing.

Terry Bollea, also known as famed wrestler Hulk Hogan, and Linda Bollea have been going through contentious divorce proceedings for almost the past two years.

During that time, the Hogans have argued over alimony payments, allowances, a Las Vegas condo and Linda's alleged spending habits.

But the proceedings were civil on Tuesday, as all parties greeted each other with handshakes and Linda and Terry said hellos with kisses on the cheek.

Following the proceedings, Linda released this statement:

"My husband took the big step of stopping this escalating war by making the decision to put this behind us. I am grateful to him for realizing that our family can be happier and stronger by working together. He and I both love our family dearly and look forward to working together to make it stronger than it has ever been. My family means the world to me."

The famous family has been in the spotlight more than ever since Linda and Terry's son, Nick Bollea, crashed his car, seriously injuring John Graziano in August 2007.

The Hogans still face a civil lawsuit filed by the Graziano family.
