HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY (Bay News 9) -- The body of a Bay area Marine has come home.

The casket of Sgt. Daniel Angus arrived at MacDill Air Force Base Thursday afternoon.

Deputies led the hearse on a procession from Bayshore Boulevard through downtown Tampa.

Sgt. Angus was killed in Afghanistan last month. He leaves behind a wife and a daughter.

He will be interred on Saturday at the Florida National Cemetary.

Sgt. Angus was the second Bay area soldier to be killed this year. In early January, Sgt. David Croft Jr. died in Iraq. His family laid him to rest on Jan. 23.
