The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are celebrating Veterans Day by helping out a local solider. 25-year-old Lt. Brian Brennan was wounded in Afghanistan, and suffered injuries that made day-to-day life difficult and unsafe in his Tampa home.

Yesterday, Bucs general manager Mark Dominik, wide receiver Maurice Stovall and defensive end Jimmy Wilkerson visited Brennan's house to review a list of rebuilding projects.

The team, in conjunction with Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay, will renovate Brennan's house to make it more accessible and flexible to his needs.

More Information

Today, Brennan will be Dominik's special guest at One Buc Place, getting a tour of the team's facility and a front-row seat to watch Tampa Bay practice.

After the workout, Brennan will visit with players and coaches, and receive a custom football in recognition of his service.

Dominik has spearheaded "Operation: Welcome Home: since taking over as GM in January of this year. His father and brother both served in the Navy, so Dominik has put an emphasis on community outreach with war veterans and all branches of the military.
