Teenage girl hit by car in Pinellas County

Curlew Road in Dunedin was shut down after a 17-year-old girl was hit by a car on her way to school this morning.

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, she was airlifted to Bayfront Medical Center.

There is no word on the extent of her injuries.
