Man murdered in St. Petersburg

An overnight murder is being investigated by St. Petersburg police.

They said they received a call about shots being fired at 18th Avenue and 9th Street South. When police arrived, they found the body of a man who had been shot to death.

Police said the victim is a black male between 20 and 30-years-old. They said he was lying in the intersection next to his bicycle.
