The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have released kicker Nick Folk.

Folk made six of 11 field goals and seven of nine extra-point attempts in the Bucs' first four games of the 2017 season. He was placed on injured reserve (knee) on Oct. 9 and replaced by Patrick Murray.

Folk beat out Roberto Aguayo for the Tampa Bay kicking job in training camp, but missed all three of his field-goal attempts in a 19-14 loss to New England in Week 5.

Folk has hit on 245 of his 305 field goal tries and 342 of his 346 PAT during his 11-year career.

He joins running back Doug Martin and defensive tackle Chris Baker on the list of players released by the Bucs during the offseason.
