Tens of thousands attended the inauguration of newly-minted-President Donald Trump, though perhaps none as eagerly as St. Petersburg residents John Tatum and Cliff Gephard.
The friends say they’ve been supporters of the Trump since he first hit the campaign trail.
Gephard even brought his 16-year-old daughter Brooke to the ceremony.
"You really could feel there was history in the air,” said Gephard during a Skype interview from D.C. “I mean, we're in a city first of all that's surrounded by history even if we weren't at an inauguration, and being at the inauguration and seeing some of the things that were going on and knowing what was going to happen was really an amazing thing."
The Floridians said it's the most patriotic they've ever felt.
