A 59-year-old Tampa man was killed in a crash Tuesday morning near the Florida State Fairgrounds.

The crash happened just after 6:30 a.m. on East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard just west of Danny Bryan Boulevard.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 39-year-old woman driving a 2002 Chevrolet SUV was attempting to turn left onto MLK when an eastbound Ford Escort crashed into the Chevy.
The 59-year-old man's identity has not been released.
The woman in the Chevy, along with her 12-year-old and 7-year-old passengers, all incurred minor injuries.
Troopers said the crash remains under investigation and charges may be pending.
