Here's your Tampa area weather forecast for late Tuesday into Wednesday morning, with a look at conditions through the weekend ahead.

  • Chilly morning
  • Lighter winds
  • Milder late week

The cold front moved through the region earlier. As expected, there were only some patchy clouds with it, but no rain. Another blast of cooler air is now moving in.

You’ll notice a change walking out the door for the morning, with lows back down in the 40s and 30s, coldest for Citrus and Hernando counties.

Wednesday will be a cool day, with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s. But it will be a nice looking day with totally sunny skies. Winds will be lighter, making for great conditions for outdoor activities.

Wednesday night will be clear and cool, with lows in the 40s.

Thursday will feature partly cloudy skies and a few showers drifting through the area. Highs will be warmer, topping out in the low 70s.

Friday will feature another cold front moving in with some scattered showers. Highs will be in the mid 70s before the front arrives.

That cold front will not be as strong, so it will stop just to our south. Therefore, only expect temperatures a few degrees lower behind it.

Lows will be in the 40s to low 50s Saturday morning.

Saturday will be mostly sunny and nice with highs in the low 70s. Saturday night will be mostly clear with lows in the 50s.
