Sen. Marco Rubio will have to find a new office location in Tampa after he was evicted from his previous building.

The owner of the nine-story office center notified Rubio's office on Feb. 1 that it will not renew the lease because of the vocal demonstrators that make weekly visits to Rubio's office.

The building owner said the rallies have become too disruptive to the other tenants and a costly security expense for the company.

Last week, Tampa Bay voters held their own town hall with an absentee Rubio in an effort to make him aware of their concerns.

Some citizens say they have tried to voice their concerns to Rubio for weeks but are being ignored. They're unhappy that Rubio has been voting with Trump's agenda when, during the election, he promised to keep the Trump administration in check.

Several groups who oppose President Donald Trump's agenda have gathered at Rubio's Tampa office at least once a week, lining up on the sidewalk to wave signs and shout messages. Gatherings in front of the Tampa office have surpassed 150 people.

Rubio's office said it's looking for new office space.
