Body of 2nd boater missing from near Pass-a-Grille recovered

The body of the second boater missing since March 14 has been recovered, according to Pinellas County Sheriff's Office officials.

According to a Pinellas Sheriff's Office release, a boater spotted a body floating in Bunces Pass just south of Shell Key Preserve at around 6:25 p.m. Wednesday.

Marine Unit deputies later recovered the body and were able to identify the victim as Jie Lou, 21.

Jie Luo was reported missing on March 14 after he jumped off a boat near the north end of Shell Key. A member of the boat's crew, Andrew Dillman, jumped in after Luo, but was also lost in the fast-flowing tide in Pass-a-Grille Channel.

Dillman's body was recovered Monday, March 20 near Egmont Key.
