A Walmart in Largo has reopened after being evacuated Friday afternoon due to a hazmat situation.

Largo Fire Rescue was called out to the Walmart on Missouri Avenue around 2:30 p.m. due to a customer and Walmart staff member 'being bothered by some sort of irritant.'

The store was evacuated while Largo Fire scanned the area for the cause.

One person was transported to a local hospital and six people refused treatment.

Officials said no dangerous chemicals were found leaking in the store.
