A man was seriously injured in a fire that destroyed a Land O' Lakes home, according to Pasco County Fire Rescue.
Firefighters were called to the home on Drexel Road at about 2:11 a.m. Sunday.
A man who was inside the home was able to escape, authorities said. He was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
About 50 firefighters battled the two-alarm fire.
The house was deemed "a total loss," officials said.
No firefighters were injured.
