A 33-year-old Valrico man is in critical condition after crashing on I-75 early Sunday morning.
Troopers said Robert Waldon was traveling southbound on I-75 approaching University Parkway when he lost control of his vehilce and ran off the roadway, striking a tree.
Waldon sustained critical injuries. No word on his condition at this time.
The crash occurred shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday. Troopers said alcohol may be a factor in the crash and charges are pending.
